Bringing Education to Life

"Bringing Education to Life" is a Clark Montessori motto. The Clark Montessori High School Course Curriculum is the major way that this motto is put into practice.
Throughout the entire curriculum, and especially through Community Service and Intersessions, Clark students are exposed to education, work and life outside of the classrooms of Clark Montessori.

A minimum of 24 Credits are required to graduate from Clark Montessori and these credits are distributed among required courses as outlined below. All classes listed are one semester in length.
Passing any course for one semester earns one-half credit.
The below courses total 20 credits.

Intersessions are required in addition to the academic work and comprise the other 4 credits.

Community Service
is required but is not included in the 24 credits.

Senior Project
-
The Senior Project, a year-long assignment, is an in-depth study of a topic of the student's choice and culminates the Clark experience. Due dates for various aspects of the project happen throughout the year and long range planning and implementation of the project are required.
The culminating exhibition marking the end of the project consists of an audio/visual presentation to the student's peers as well as a comprehensive public exhibition.
A passing grade on Senior Project is required for a Clark diploma.
