To Clark's future college students and parents,
Choosing a college or a career is obviously one of the most important steps in a young adult's life. The Clark Montessori College, Career and Testing Coordination Center will joyously use all of its many resources to support the student in making the choices which will be the best match for that individual, and we look forward each year to meeting those students and their parent/guardians who are beginning the process.

      When should you start planning?

The work of planning for after Clark begins as early as 9th grade with the Freshman Intersession. Later as sophomores, juniors, and seniors, the student and his/her parent/guardian will be actively involved with the Clark College/Career Center as we move through Clark's college selection process.

Any parent/guardian or student who has questions or needs any kind of help or information on this process will find ready and cheerful help simply by stopping by the College/Career and Testing office, or by calling or emailing.

      This website:
Another way to get help or information is this website. By using the links at the top of this page, one can learn about:
         - Testing Information on the SAT, ACT, PLAN, PSAT, and the OGT Tests.

- College Search Web sites of quite diverse natures all pertaining to searching for a school,            getting information on prospective schools, getting money, etc.

         - College Fairs, Visits, Tours
The When/Where on conventions with many colleges            represented, individual colleges visiting Clark and tours given by a particular college at that            school.

         - Financial Aid
Government grants and scholarships, student loan information, etc.

- Scholarships The long list of available college money of which this office has been made            aware. This list will include the award, who is eligible and how to apply with links to the actual            application if available online.

         - Forms Every form you'll need to get information, give information, or keep track of            information in the long process of choosing a school.

As time goes by we will list information on what schools Clark seniors have been accepted to, amounts of scholarships they have received and the criteria on which they were awarded and what some Clark graduates are doing out in the world. Becoming familiar with this section of the website will be VERY helpful to all students and their parent/guardian by the time they reach the 10th grade.

Clark Montessori, through the College/Career Center, will expend a great deal of effort in helping its students find the path they'd like to pursue after their time at Clark. It's to everyone's benefit to take the time to come in, meet Steffanie and Amy and learn how the Center works.

Hope to see YOU soon!
