The Quick Basics: "Shop with Scrip" is similar to several other fundraisers that use "gift cards" or "cash cards".
A card is bought in various denominations and is used just like cash.

In other words:
  ~  order, for example, a $50 Shell gasoline card,
  ~  pay $50 to get it,
  ~  get $50 worth of gasoline!

Beyond the original purchase of the card, this program costs the card buyer NOTHING! But the very act of purchasing the card puts money in the account of the beneficiary.

Beneficiaries may be a student's field studies account, the Clark Foundation or a Clark club or extracurricular activity.

Please note: For simplicity, we'll use the term "gift card" on this page, but please keep in mind that Scrip cards are perfectly appropriate to buy and use yourself.

The Particulars: Gift cards from "Shop with Scrip" come from about FIVE HUNDRED AND SIXTY different business that serve the Cincinnati area.
The idea is to get a card for a business you would patronize ANYWAY and use it when you would have shopped there regularly.

How to Do It! : First, go to www.shopwithscrip.com. Once there, you might like to go to "Get Started" where there is a lot of information on how to famiarize yourself with how the promotion works.

If you're ready, go back to "Home".

Important: Enter the student and teacher name for the student you wish to benefit.
You can also enter "Clark Foundation" or another entity you wish to benefit.


Once you're in - GO SHOPPING!! Click on "Shop".

On the first shop page, you'll see a list of different business categories, or you can click "All Categories to get the big list of about 560 businesses.

As you peruse the business listings, it will show the card denominations and percentage of contributions that are available for that business.

Once you have chosen a card, follow the typical "shopping cart" online shopping procedures to buy a card!

When the card is ordered, you can make arrangements to pick up the card from Clark's Scrip representative.
