High School Football Starts at
Clark
This year the High School Clark Cougars will take to the football field
for the first time ever, joining our very successful JH team! The JV schedule is set. In 2008-09 we play
varsity football! If you would like to get involved, please contact Tom
Donnelly, AD.
Clark Joins Miami
Valley Conference
In 2007-08 Clark Montessori JH and HS will join the Miami
Valley Conference. Current conference member schools are Summit Country
Day, Cincinnati Country Day, North College Hill, Cincinnati Hills
Christian Academy, Seven Hills, Cincinnati Christian, Lockland, St.
Bernard, and New Miami.

Here's are partial list of recent grads playing ball
in college. John Wallace, Soccer at Thomas More College.
Ryan Dale, Soccer at Transylvania University. David Montgomery Soccer at
Georgetown College. Jessica Smith, Soccer at Urbana University. Juanisha
Gibson, Basketball at Mt. St. Joseph. Imani Rogers, Soccer and
Basketball at Alabama State. Know of others, please let us know.
Boys Basketball
We are extremely pleased to
announce that Jim Leon has been hired as our new Varsity Head
Coach for Boys Basketball. Over his prior 13 years as
a head coach,
Coach Leon’s teams have played in State Championship and Final Four
games. He has won 12 league championships, 3 city championships, 7 state
Sectional championships, 1 District championship, and 1 Regional
championship. His over-all record is 225-102 and his state tournament
record is 25-13. He has been offered 3 coaching positions at Division I
universities and a scouting job with the Chicago Bulls. He has just been
nominated for the Cincinnati Basketball Hall of Fame. He has conducted a
clinic with Michael Jordan and has coached Jason Kidd, Allen Iverson,
Kenyon Martin, and Nick Van Excel, among others, in summer ball.
As a college prep high school we
are extremely pleased that 16 of Coach Leon’s players have
received Division I college scholarships, including UC and Louisville,
and an amazing 72% of his players have received a college scholarship at
some level. Welcome Coach Leon!
