Student Athlete Awards
Throughout the year, various awards are presented to our
outstanding Scholar Athletes.
Athletic Director Award:
This Award is presented by the Athletic Director to the female
and male high school athlete with the highest weighted GPA during their
season of competition. Awarded at the end of each season.
Clark Scholar Athlete Academic Honors Award:
This Award is presented by the Athletic Director to high
school athletes with a GPA of 3.5 or greater during their season of
competition. Awarded at the end of each season.
Triple Crown Award:
This Award is presented by the Athletic Director to junior high and high school athletes
who have earned letters in three sports in three seasons in a single school year. To be
eligible, a student athlete must be on both the first and final season
rosters and in good standing with the head coach, faculty, and Athletic
Director. A student who has quit a team at any point through their high
school career is not eligible. Its
purpose is to encourage participation in all three seasons. Award winners
will receive their award toward the
end of the school year.
Clark Special Recognition Award:
This Award is presented by the Athletic Director to junior
high and high school teams, athletes, and coaches who have distinguished themselves
in league or post-season play. Awarded at the end of each season.
Letters:
To receive a junior high or high school letter a student-athlete
must be on the final team roster. Otherwise, it is the decision of the
Athletic Director and coach.
Senior Academic Award:
This Award is presented by Cincinnati Public Schools at its annual
end-of-season banquet to seniors who have earned a varsity letter in
their senior year and have a 7-semester GPA of 3.5 or greater.
First Team All-League Plaques, Second Team &
Honorable Mention All-League Certificates: These Awards are presented by
our Southwest Ohio Public League (SOPL) in soccer, volleyball, golf,
basketball, baseball, & track and field. Awarded at the end of each
season. Archie Griffin Sportsmanship Award:
This Award is presented by the Athletic Director on behalf of the OHSAA
to one female and one male high school athlete who has demonstrated
outstanding traits of sportsmanship. Awarded at the end of the school
year.
OHSAA Scholar Athlete
Award: This Award is presented by the Athletic Director on behalf of the
OHSAA to one female and one male high school athlete who have earned a
varsity letter in their senior year and had the highest 7-semester
weighted GPA.
