Principal’s Letter

Dear Clark Families,

It’s time to think about next year already! Students will option for next year’s classes in the upcoming weeks. Rising 9th grade families may choose to attend one of two evening sessions: Monday, May 21 at 6:30 and Thursday, May 24 at 6:30 in the cafetorium . Optioning forms for rising 10th-12th graders have been distributed and students will enter their requests into the computer during the week of April 30. It’s also time to think about Spring Intersessions! Students may apply for scholarships now for next year using the form attached to this email. Forms are due on Friday, May 11.

Finally, many thanks to our music department for an amazing pair of concerts on Friday! The students and their teachers reminded us all to remember our creative sides, which in turn reminded me of one of my favorite Montessori quotations:

“Let us resolve to stand in delight at least once in each day and look to see what we can learn from the child. To stand for just a short moment is to see compassion, kindness, cooperation, selflessness, humor, diligence, courage, and love.” (Montessori)
