Principals Letter

Dear Clark Families,

With great sadness we send our support to the victims of the Santa Fe, Texas shooting. Amid this year’s series of alarming events, we have been and remain committed to helping each child at Clark find his and her place, to better understand the complexities of creating a peaceful world, and to support our students as they struggle to become their best selves in a world that itself struggles to find answers to these events. Dr. Montessori’s words this week are especially poignant. We hope at Clark that we can “stir up life” so our Clark kids can continue to make the world a better, more peaceful, humane place. This is my last announcement of the school year - much love and life to you all this summer. Please be on the lookout for various mailings and occasional emails, keep your kids engaged and thoughtful in the world, and return them to us ready to learn!

This then is the first duty of an educator:  to stir up life but leave it free to develop.” Maria Montessori
